Watchly ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Watchly application (the "App") and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account information: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo to create and manage your account.
• Content you create: Rooms you create, videos you queue, and messages you send in chat.
• Usage data: Basic technical information such as device type and app activity, used to keep the App running reliably.
• Subscription data: If you purchase Watchly Pro, our payment processors receive your purchase, plan, trial status and renewal/expiry dates. Web and browser-extension purchases are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record); in-app purchases are processed through RevenueCat together with the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your full payment-card details.

How we use your information

• To create your account and let you sign in.
• To enable real-time watch-together rooms and live chat.
• To process and manage your Watchly Pro subscription and unlock Pro features.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the App.

How your information is stored

Account data and content are stored securely using Google Firebase. Real-time messaging is delivered through Ably, live voice chat through Agora, and subscription management and payments through Paddle (web & browser extension) and RevenueCat together with the Apple App Store and Google Play (in-app).

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with the service providers listed above as needed to operate the App, or where required by law.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hi@letswatchly.online.

Children's privacy

Watchly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
